1: – 07:00 – It is 7 am and we have been packed and ready to go for almost an hour. I am definitely not used to this – it is making me anxious that there is nothing to get anxious about….
2: – 10:30 – We arrived at the airport and made it through security in record time. The agent who checked us in said that there were a couple of cancellations in business class so there is a chance that we will be upgraded. We are keeping our fingers crossed!!!.
It is funny – we have been planning this trip for over 6 months but it doesn’t seem real right now. I can’t believe that we are heading back to China. I am really excited about seeing Yunnan and cannot wait to see Guilin and the Li River. I just hope that we don’t melt along the way – the projected temperatures are in the 30’s (mid 40’s with humidex).
If we get upgraded, i will post pic to our blog from my phone. (Wow, I feel sooo techy after saying that!)
3: – 12:20 – OMG OMG OMG – we got the upgrade. Horizontal is the only way to fly to Shanghai.
