The tour guide picked us up early in the morning. God help anyone who wasn’t awake already. Anna was so bouncy and animated her words came flying out in a nonstop barrage of solar energy……does she even stop to breathe????
It was a very busy day. We started with a tram ride up to the top of Victoria Peak, the highest point on Hong Kong island. We then did a loop around the island doing a whirlwind visit of all the major tourist spots. We had lunch at the Jumbo Seafood Floating Restaurant in Abderdeen. I was expecting a tourist trap restaurant but was happily proven wrong. The food and setting were fantastic! I will definitely go back for a second round sometime.
After our farewell dinner (no Lazy Susan, big buffet) we wandered around the night market before heading back to the hotel. What a way to end the (organized portion of the) tour.
