This is a bit of a weird start to a trip. Neither of us actually feel like we are starting vacation. (Might have something to do with the fact that we both have to work while we are away.)

We are really looking forward to visiting Le Calabash in the Loire Valley again. The hosts, Ali and Sid, are wonderful people and phenomenal teachers! It also doesn’t hurt that we will be baking, making ice cream, tempering chocolate and making pastry for a week. Oh well, so much for the diet………I think that is going to be the theme of this trip!
