One Final Night in Lhasa

We piled into the van and headed back to Lhasa for the last night of the tour. We got a chance to scratch the shopping bug on the way to check into the beautiful Hotel St. Regis, Lhasa. The quiet elegance was a stark contrast to the Intercontinental. Our tour guide Dan, had a few issues with his room but the staff bent over backwards to try to rectify the situation.

We ended this amazing journey on the top of the St. Regis, on a balcony overlooking the Potala Palace. Seeing the moon shining down on the Potala made for a fairy tale ending to a somewhat trying but wonderous adventure through Nepal and Tibet.
